Pre-event info

The start and finish of the rides is Histon & Impington Recreation Ground, CB24 9NU or, for the 55 mile route only, also Gamlingay Eco Hub, SG19 3JR.

Entry numbers and route map cards will be available for collection from 09:00 to 09:30 on the morning of the ride at the clearly signed registration points at either:

Histon & Impington Recreation Ground or at Gamlingay Eco Hub,  depending on your chosen start point.

Don’t worry if you don’t know your entry number as we can provide it on the day.

Please do try to arrive in good time. There is no parking at the recreation ground car park but sign posted car parking will be available at Histon Vision Park, a 5 minute walk to the Recreation Ground. There will be clearly signed car parking at the Gamlingay Eco Hub and Gamlingay Middle School.

We ask you to take note of the event rules and the information provided on the route map card. The event ends at 15:00.

Food and drink will be available for sale at three points on the Strawberry 55. Please do make use of them: at Gamlingay Eco Hub, at Barrington Village Hall and at Histon & Impington recreation ground. On the Strawberry 28 there will a refreshment point at Little Eversden. Refreshments will also be available at the end of both rides.  At Histon there will be scones with strawberries and cream and the Cambridge Hot Sausage Company will be present.
